Week 16: Immunity Challenge

Last week on Survivor Hamilton: Fire & Ice… The 2nd Individual Immunity Challenge went to Silas, and we saw a clash of Fuego and Hielo at Tribal Council, where Jonathan was narrowly voted out over Jordan in a 6-5 vote. What’s next for the Top 10?

Come on in guys! Who’s ready to get to another Immunity Challenge? First things first, Silas, gotta take back the necklace. Immunity, back up for grabs. For today’s challenge you’re going to hold on to ropes with each hand, connected to a round wooden disc, with a ball balancing on top. Over time you’ll be asked to step forward, slackening the rope, making it more difficult. The last person left standing will win Immunity.

And there is a twist. Somewhere in the sand surrounding the area where you’re competing, there is a second Immunity Necklace buried. You’ll need to drop out of the ball balancing challenge to dig for the idol, where you’ll compete with whoever else decides to dig. You can drop out at any point, but you cannot rejoin the challenge for the 1st Immunity, and the first person to touch the buried necklace will win the 2nd Immunity of the day!

Everybody clear? With 2 Immunity Necklaces up for grabs, the challenge begins… NOW!

With most of the tribe deciding they would test their ball-balancing skills because digging was going to come down to luck, the only 3 to immediately jump down were:
stevie Rebecca stef

That left Alex, Bryan, Tyler, Silas, Meg, Jordan and Luke standing, holding their ropes, hoping to outlast the others. Stevie, Rebecca and Stef split up, and began frantically digging, eager to find the necklace before anyone else stepped down to start digging too. And while the 7 castaways standing, balancing their balls on their discs looked comfortable early, Stevie thought she found the necklace, but it was only a big root!

Jordan and Luke were looking at eachother, wondering if they should start digging, since the women had already done a lot of the work. These two couldn’t be more different, but over the course of the game, they had built a strange bond, and wordlessly they agreed to step down and start digging, leaving Alex, Bryan, Silas, Tyler and Meg competing for the other necklace. Unfortunately, for dummies Jordan and Luke, as well as Stevie and Stef, it was too late, and the person who found the buried Immunity Necklace is…

Rebecca

REBECCA WINS IMMUNITY, and safety from the vote at tomorrow’s Tribal Council! Jordan, Luke, Stef, Stevie, you are OUT!

With one Immunity settled, it was time to find out who’s ball would balance longest, who had the endurance, and who had the patience, to win this thing. We will now tell you who dropped out in order. Remember, the people left are Alex, Bryan, Tyler, Silas and Meg. The first of those to drop out, thereby losing Immunity is…

Bryan, no shot at Immunity. The next person to drop out was…

Silas, out too. That left only Tyler, Alex and Stef. But shortly after Silas dropped, so too did…

tyler
Tyler, you’re out too. So with Rebecca already sitting pretty with one Immunity Necklace, the challenge came down to these 2 rivals, Alex hoping to win her 2nd Individual Immunity, and Meg hoping to stop her.

And compete these 2 did. With their balls rolling all over the place, the wind at their backs, their stomachs sick from lack of food, Alex and Meg did Survivor Hamilton proud, but there could only be one (well, 2!) winner of Immunity, and that person was…

Meg
MEG WINS IMMUNITY, and along with Rebecca, safety from this week’s Tribal Council. The rest of you, one of you will become the 15th person voted out of the game.

Relampago, please have your votes in by 8pm tomorrow (Friday) night. Remember that any Hidden Immunity Idols must be played at the time of your vote. Good luck!
