After the hectic week that sent Silas home, Alex, Tyler and Stef knew that the Survivor gods had turned against them. Down 3-4, and seemingly without an advantage similar to the one Silas played in Week 17, they would need to appeal to the remaining Fuego 4. These last 7 castaways had spent 5 months competing against eachother, Fire vs Ice, and with the tie last week, and the ensuing challenge, the Hielo 3 would need to find or create cracks to hope to survive to the end…

Down to only 7 left, with Tyler Immune, the other 6 castaways felt as mortal as ever. Then they watched the Jury of Claudia, Jonathan, Bryan, Luke and then Silas – shooting eye daggers at his old tribe – and they realized they really didn’t want to join the Jury yet. We were down to the final weeks, which was amazing when they thought of Week 1, meeting their new tribes and competing in their first challenges. Whoever went home today should know that they outlasted 17 other castaways, and they should be super proud of that. There is only one winner. Let’s find out who its not.

Stef, please bring your torch and say your goodbyes. Stef had managed to survive 16 votes against throughout the season, always viewed as the easy vote (because she didn’t know as many people) but always making it through the tough Tribal Councils, first on Hielo, then legendary Week 13 on Fuego, but it was the 17th vote against that ended up being the one that counted. Thank you so much Stef for your quiet commitment to the game, it was a pleasure to have you, and 7th place is pretty amazing.
