After 20 weeks the game had slowed down for the remaining 6 castaways. No longer were there fireworks after a vote back at camp. No longer was there the backstabbing and multi-layered strategies at every turn. Alex and Tyler were clearly outnumbered by the Fuego 4, and with Alex narrowly defeating Tyler at the Immunity Challenge, all eyes were on Tyler. Since the 2 tribes never really integrated through the switches before the merge, the alliance were locked in the battle of fire and ice that the producers so badly wanted.

But at this point in the game, all 6 castaways needed to be thinking of the moves that would get them to the finals instead of just Fuego vs Hielo. Could they do that, or would allegiances continue to hold?

And as usual, Relampago walked into the Tribal Council area, followed by the Jury of Claudia, Jonathan, Bryan, Luke, Silas, and the newest addition, Stef. The Jury watched Tyler make his case to those on the “bottom” of the Fuego alliance that this was the time to flip. To win Survivor Hamilton you can’t go to the end with someone who will beat you in the Jury’s eyes, and you needed to make the big moves when you still had the numbers to make them. Would it be enough?

Let’s get to the vote. Alex has Immunity and cannot be voted for. If anyone has a Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so…

Tyler please bring your torch, and say your goodbyes. After 20 weeks, your game has come to an end. And he looked at the people he had shared the game with, thanked them, wished them good luck, and joined the Jury who was happy to see his energy join the group.

As an aside, Jordan was now the last remaining man in the game, after his 15 male counterparts were methodically eliminated by the remaining women. Alex was now the last remaining original Hielo. Both of these castaways would need to fight with everything they had to win the next Immunity, or their games could be coming to an end just like Tyler.

Important News for Week 21: 
I am travelling for work all week next week and will not be posting an Immunity Question until June 10th at least. So the Final 5 will have a week off, and then we’ll quickly work through the final challenges and Tribals before finishing the game on June 23 at the Finale BBQ at our place.

Keep an eye out for a different sort of challenge tomorrow (Sunday) though…
