And so Week 22 would come to this… A fire-making challenge for two original Fuegos. The first to make a fire high and hot enough to burn a string, raising a little flag stays while the other will become the 2nd to last juror. After Rebecca miraculously won Immunity, she had the tough decision to save Meg, Stevie or Jordan. She decided to save Meg, as Stevie had proven herself a strong performer in challenges, and hopefully they could keep their 3-person mini alliance together to Final 3, and Jordan was the only other choice at this point in the game. The time for strategy was over, and the two fierce competitors got ready…

And the challenge began!
Jordan and Stevie immediately began gathering their kindling, and bundling it each in their own ways. Over the course of the season, both Jordan and Stevie had made their share of fires, but this was do or die, and the pressure was on. Jordan had begun scraping the provided flint with his knife, building up a small pile of magnesium that he would eventually use to light his fire.
Stevie had kept on piling her sticks and twigs to a height that she believed would be sufficient, and started working on a flame, while Jordan kept on scraping magnesium onto his small pile, determined to get it right on his first try. With flint in hand, Stevie frantically tried to get a spark. After 22 weeks, this was not the way that Stevie wanted her game to end, while Jordan had been waiting for the opportunity to put himself in a position to win the game, and this was it.

And soon enough, Jordan had a spark, which caught, and the tiny flames flickered through the smoke, as he blew on the pile, hoping to increase the size of his fire. Stevie looked over, knowing that it was now or never for her own flame, so she kept on hitting the flint with her knife, the pressure building and building. Beside her, Jordan’s flame was growing higher, licking the string hanging over.
The Jury was rapt with attention, but Meg could barely watch as her closest ally finally finally had a flame take hold, but she was running out of time to catch Jordan, who was calmly placing sticks around his fire, seeing a spot in the final 3 getting closer. The heat from earlier in the day was still climbing in the Tribal Council area as Stevie’s flame was suddenly burning straight up, singing the string, but would it be enough?
With both Jordan and Stevie hoping their effort would be enough, only one could move on. Suddenly a string split, a flag raised, and one castaway jumped up and cheered…

JORDAN WINS A SPOT IN THE FINAL 3, along with Meg and Rebecca, while poor Stevie will become the 10th member of the Jury – oh so close to the end. From the get-go, Stevie built strong relationships in Fuego, and in fact is the 2nd person to be eliminated from the game despite never receiving a vote against. With her devotion to checking every page on the website for idols each week paying off, but her rushed responses in many Immunity Challenges, the end must be bittersweet for Stevie, but hey, there’s always next time! Welcome to the Jury Stevie!

Ladies and gentlemen, your Final 3!

The final, epic Immunity Challenge will take place one day this week any time from Sunday at 12:01am to Wednesday at 11:59pm. The winner will take a spot in the Finals and get the choice of who to bring with them for the final Tribal Council, where the Jury will decide who wins, and the winner will be revealed on Saturday June 23 at the Hamilton household.
Good luck and thank you again to everyone who took the time to play the game! I can’t believe there is only 1 WEEK LEFT!
