It was a funny feeling spending the last days at Relampago beach. The game had felt so full back when there were 24 castaways on the island. There was so much going on. Scheming. Alliance building. Backstabbing. Idol hunting. But now there was only Meg with Immunity around her neck, and Jordan and Rebecca, hoping that she would choose them to join her in the Final 2 Tribal Council on Saturday.
Of course the easy choice would be Rebecca. She had worked with Meg since the beginning, and though an all-girls alliance was never formally created, both Meg and Rebecca would rather see a woman win the game, as they came in so outnumbered. There was also the fact that Rebecca had stayed on Fuego the whole game before the merge, and may have made less connections in the jury.
With Jordan, someone who knew nothing about Survivor before this game began, Meg faced more uncertainty. From completely bombing the Week 1 Immunity Challenge, to eliminating Stevie in a fire-building contest, Jordan had fully turned around his game. For 3 weeks, Jordan lived on Hielo beach, where he was able to build some bonds with members of the jury both orange and blue. It’s possible that Jordan could also be seen as someone who didn’t make any enemies. Sure he was a part of all the votes that sent the jury packing, but was he the mastermind?

And so for the final time on the island, Meg, Jordan and Rebecca made the walk from Relampago beach to the Tribal Council area. After they were seated, the Jury of Graham, Claudia, Jonathan, Bryan, Silas, Luke, Stef, Tyler, Alex and Stevie walked in and sat down to discover who would be joining them.
There would be no time for debate, no negotiation, no ties, no Hidden Immunity Idols, just Meg’s choice. Jordan or Rebecca. And so Meg stood, and declared who would be joining her.
Along with Meg, the 2nd person to claim a spot in the Final 2, and the Finale on Saturday is…

Rebecca will face off against the Jury with Meg, which means that the 22nd and final person voted out of Survivor Hamilton: Fire & Ice is…

I never would have thought that Jordan would make it this far (although he had the audacity to predict he would win the thing), but somehow vote after vote, tie after tie, he found a way through. Jordan lost Graham and Claudia in back-to-back weeks, but proved to be an essential vote for the Fuego alliance every time they went to Tribal. It was also Jordan’s birthday on the day he lost the last Immunity Challenge, so maybe he’ll learn to prioritize Survivor Hamilton over aging next time.
So what’s next?

On Saturday the Jury will vote for either Meg or Rebecca to win Survivor Hamilton: Fire & Ice. Whether you can make the BBQ or not, I will be collecting your vote, and we will announce the winner around 6pm.
