READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!
Attention! This is a Reward Challenge for both the Kobara and Nevala tribes, and an opportunity to earn a huge advantage for tomorrow’s Immunity Challenge. Details on the Reward will be posted below, immediately after your Reward Question.
You can call this the Health Reward Challenge if you like, because the winner of this contest will be the tribe that:
…
Has exactly 50% of their members send me a photo of them holding a FRESH FRUIT OR VEGETABLE in the shortest time (not frozen, not a picture of a fruit/veg, not cooked in a meal, etc.).
This means that I must receive exactly 7 photos from Kobara, and 5 photos from Nevala.
…
Think of it as a little “pick me up” for Nevala basically tying the last Immunity Challenge. I hope I can trust you to differentiate between a fresh fruit or vegetable and one in another form. Fingers crossed eh?
The Reward you are fighting for:
The format of tomorrow’s Immunity Challenge will be that each member of a pair must answer a question (either math or logic/word puzzle), with the answers adding together for the final total, and get that answer in from both members before the opposing pair. The winning Tribe will be the first to 3 match wins. The advantage is that the winner of today’s Reward Challenge will get to choose not only their five pairs for tomorrow’s Immunity Challenge, but pick the pairs from the losing tribe, AND choose the five matchups.
A Kobara win means they get to decide which 4 players they sit out, their pairs, as well as Nevala’s pairs, and the matchups.
A Nevala win means they get to decide which 4 players from Kobara sit out, as well as both tribes’ pairs, and the matchups.
I hope that this Reward was worth the effort.
The Results:
This was a hectic challenge that took no time to get started, saw Nevala jump out to an early lead, sitting so close to victory, only for a delay to allow Kobara to come all the way back. You’ll the order and pictures below. Remember we’re looking for 5 from Nevala and 7 from Kobara. There is a lot of power on the line.
First Response (an orange):

Second Response (a lime):

We’re tied 1-1.
Third Response (asparagus):

Nevala takes the lead 2-1!
Fourth Response (an avocado):

Nevela increases their lead to 3-1, only needing 2 more to seal the win. Kobara still needed to send 6 responses in!
Fifth Response (grapes):
Kobara cuts it down to 3-2 for Nevala.
Sixth Response (a strawberry):

We’re tied again, 3-3, but remember that Nevala only needs 5.
Seventh Response (bananas):

Uh oh, Cowin’s bananas puts Kobara in the lead 4-3.
Eighth Response (a bell pepper):

Both tribes now only needed 2 more responses, with Kobara up 5-3.
Ninth Response (lettuce):

With Sharon’s lettuce, Nevala only needed one more player to check the group chat and send in their photo. 6 players were out there somewhere, what were they doing?
Tenth Response (an apple):

After Paul’s photo came in, the score now sat at 6 for Kobara and 4 for Nevala. The next suitable photo from either tribe would seal the victory. But who would it come from???
..
…
…
Eleventh Response (a pear):

And Elliott swoops in to seal another win for a dominant Kobara Tribe, moments before Andre sent me a photo of a mango, and Ian mistakenly sent in an orange after the buzzer, ruining my “only one of each type of fruit/veg” deal I happened to be tracking.

Well, we did everything we could to even the playing field for Nevala, but it wasn’t meant to be. Kobara wins a HUGE Reward Challenge, and I suspect they will put a very dastardly plan into motion before the day is done.
Kobara please have the following information to me by noon EST tomorrow afternoon:
1. Which 4 Kobara players are sitting out tomorrow’s Immunity Challenge
2. Kobara’s five pairs
3. Nevala’s five pairs
4. Which pairs have been matched up together
Good luck, looking forward to it.
