Previously on Survivor Hamilton: Old Meets New
Our Final 4 players – April, Graham, Jon & Jordan – competed in a special Sunday Immunity Challenge, with not only personal safety, but a very important decision on the line. April pulled out the clutch win, and now that she’s earned her spot in the Top 3, she gets to choose which other player will join her – forcing the remaining two to battle it out tonight, live at Tribal Council.

At our last Tribal Council, Jon and Jordan were faced with a tough decision – vote out Bryan or one of April/Graham. Bryan seemed like he may be tougher to beat in the last 2 Immunity Challenges as well as with the Jury, while April & Graham were clearly working together in all aspects of the game, and would most likely take eachother all the way to the final Tribal Council. Though Bryan offered all manner of deals, Jon and Jordan decided to vote out their rival, allowing Graham and April to live on as half of the Final 4.
Whether they regret their decision now is a moot point, because the decision has been made, and now they must deal with the fact that April won yesterday’s Immunity necklace and would likely be bringing Graham along to tomorrow’s final test. Unless April decides to switch things up in the hopes of earning more Jury votes, Jon and Jordan would be competing against eachother tonight for one spot in the Top 3. Mathematically it makes sense for April to stick with Graham. He’s been adamant for weeks, ever since being called out for working “both sides”, that getting the two of the them to the final Tribal Council is his number one goal. That gives April two chances out of three on Tuesday’s final Immunity Challenge.
Add in the fact that April’s been answering BEFORE Graham for a number of challenges in a row, and she’s got a really good chance of getting to the end of the game. The Jury may not fully respect the “risk averse” nature of that gameplay, but getting to the end is the goal, not how you get there. Still, getting to the end without Graham would be an even bigger accomplishment, and I’m sure that April has seriously considered all of her options.

For Jon and Jordan, they would just need to focus on getting to the end based on challenge wins. They both missed a huge opportunity yesterday, and now would likely be facing eachother for a single spot in the Top 3. Whichever of them gets past that test will need to FOCUS for their final challenge tomorrow. A win tomorrow would seal up a spot in the finals, while a loss would likely mean a 3rd place finish – which Jordan remembers all too well from last season. And so our Final 4 players enter Tribal Council with very clear expectations on what’s going to happen tonight, but will those assumptions be realized? Let’s find out:
So as mentioned, the all important decision was April’s to make. I’m sure that she weighed all three options, but it really seemed that moving forward with Graham would be the best decision. Is that what April would do?

So when it came down to it, April’s decision for who would join her in the Top 3, and competing in tomorrow’s final Immunity Challenge is…
…
…
…

As expected, April chose Graham (just as he would have) and we have two thirds of our Top 3 set in stone. Now for an intense head to head matchup between…
VS
These two tough competitors would be facing off in a series of trivia questions about the game so far. The first player to 7 points would win their spot in the Top 3, joining April and Graham. I had 12 “True or False” questions ready to go, and we’d need to see how it played out. Do you want to find out?
True of False, the player with the most total votes cast against them is Peter?
True, both got it correct.
VS
Jon: 1 Jordan: 1
Marishka is the only player no longer in the game that wasn’t actually voted out.
True, both players were incorrect.
VS
Jon: 1 Jordan: 1
Amanda was voted out before Sasha.
False, Jon was incorrect and Jordan was correct.
VS
Jon: 1 Jordan: 2
Ruth played exactly one Hidden Immunity Idol on herself.
False, Jon was correct and Jordan was incorrect.
VS
Jon: 2 Jordan: 2
Jonathan was voted out in the first vote after the Tribe Swap.
False, both players were correct.
VS
Jon: 3 Jordan: 3
Jordan is the only player with exactly one vote against him.
True, both players were correct.
VS
Jon: 4 Jordan: 4
Not including re-votes, Ross and Bryan are the players to be voted against unanimously (every cast vote was against them but their own)
False, both players were correct.
VS
Jon: 5 Jordan: 5
Nevala won the fewest tribal Immunity Challenges between the Tribe Swap and the Merge.
False, both players were correct.
VS
Jon: 6 Jordan: 6
So at this point, Jon and Jordan were tied 6-6, with the first player to 7 points winning the match and joining April and Graham in tomorrow’s final Immunity Challenge. In the next question, one player was correct while the other was incorrect…
Ruth was voted to the Jury in the first Tribal Council after Graham re-joined the game from Exile Island.
True, and Jon was correct, while Jordan was unfortunately incorrect…
VS
Jon: 7 Jordan: 6
Which means that finishing in 4th place, becoming the 12th member of the Jury is…

What an exciting challenge for both Jon and Jordan, and unfortunately Jordan leaves the game with only 1 vote cast against him all game long (by Chelsea, on the day Graham was voted out). Last time around he led Fire & Ice with the most votes against over the course of the game, and so by Jordan’s own account his “more active” gameplay this season really helped. Throughout the game Jordan had many highs and lows, and he was very involved in the votes from beginning to end. He won two individual Immunity Challenges, won two Hidden Immunity Idols, and was basically done in by family in the end. Jordan had a great, close, head to head battle with Jon, and ultimately came up a little short but 4th place out of 30 tough competitors is an amazing result and as always I’m super proud of my cousin Jordan. Great job man!
And so we have our Final 3!

Tomorrow night will be the last Immunity Challenge of the season, and so I hope they rest up! Check out Jordan’s great PLAYED! with Meg & Mike episode below:
