Primary Skill: Intelligence
In a realm where the ocean’s vastness met the mysteries of a jungle, there began the tale of a man named Boon, whose sharp mind and cautious nature would guide him through a perilous adventure.
The Awakening
Boon awoke upon the sandy shore, his senses assaulted by the heat and the unfamiliar surroundings. His head throbbed with the memory of a forgotten past, and the world felt both strange and threatening. He noticed footprints leading into the jungle and the skeletal mast of a ship, a ghostly beacon against the horizon. Unlike others, he was wary of the footprints, suspecting they might lead to danger. Instead, he chose to walk down the beach towards the ship, hoping to find resources and putting distance between himself and the unknown, thinking that if the footprints were made by friendly people, they wouldn’t have left him while he was unconscious. The jungle seemed full of dangers and he thought it was best to avoid it unless it became absolutely necessary.
The Shipwreck
Boon arrived at the shipwreck alongside many other survivors, a gathering of lost souls. He was careful, observing the scene with a discerning eye. While others were drawn to the ship’s mast or the mysteries within, Boon knew there was something wrong and unnatural about the place. He went inside, but remained cautious, avoiding the circle of bone-dust. He reasoned that as long as the group was careful and slow, it was best to search the ship for anything useful, or get information from anyone who had already been there for a while.
The Storm and the Escape
As the other players stepped into the circle of bone-dust, a great storm descended upon them. The wind howled, the lights went out, and a dark force began to mark those inside. Boon, with his keen intelligence, sensed the danger and fled the ship, grabbing whatever supplies were closest to the opening, and trying to pull the others who had not stepped into the circle with him, including Bryan and Rosendo, who also had not stepped into the circle, hoping to get them away from the ship. He wanted to grab a map and key that Rosendo had found but focused instead on escaping the ship.
The Shore and the Marked
Boon found himself on the shore, among a group of players who had also fled the ship. But now, he observed a strange shift in the behavior of those who had been marked by the bone-dust circle. Their eyes seemed distant, and their movements were hesitant, as if they were being controlled by some unseen power. The humming from the jungle seemed to intensify around them. Boon must now decide on his next course of action, unsure of what will lead to safety in this strange and perilous land, while trying to avoid the influence of a dark curse.
