Primary Skill: Resourcefulness

In a realm where the ocean’s mysteries met the dense embrace of a jungle, there began the tale of a woman named Chelsea, whose resourcefulness and practical nature led her into a strange and perilous adventure.

The Awakening
Chelsea awoke upon the sandy shore, her mind a blank slate, with no memory of how she arrived. The sun’s rays beat down upon her, and the world felt both strange and threatening. She noticed footprints leading into the jungle and the skeletal mast of a ship, a ghostly beacon against the horizon. Unlike some, Chelsea chose to follow the footprints into the jungle, assuming they were recent and made by people who did not see her as a threat, hoping to find others who were also asking the same questions.

The Clearing
Chelsea arrived at a clearing in the jungle with a group of other survivors. There, they discussed their strange circumstances, with no one remembering how they had arrived on the island. She decided to stay in the clearing and help build a shelter, believing she was better at supporting a shelter build than finding food. She felt that she was better at the tactical elements, finding ways to fix, build, and secure.

The Stone and the Storm
While building the shelter, Chelsea and the group uncovered a stone slab covered in skulls. As they examined the stone, a storm descended upon them. The stone began to hum, and the earth shook. While others sought shelter from the storm, Chelsea, along with Peter, chose to stay in the open and investigate the stone. She felt torn between finding the others and following the stone, but she thought it would provide direction and keep moving, and she hoped they could return for the others if it was safe.

The Spiral Staircase
As the storm raged around them, Chelsea and Peter discovered that the stone slab had opened, revealing a spiraling staircase leading down into the earth. A fallen tree sealed the entrance, cutting off any escape, and the air was thick with the stench of damp soil and sulfur. Faint, luminescent glyphs pulsed along the walls of the staircase. Chelsea must now decide on her next course of action, unsure of what will lead to safety in this strange and perilous land, with a sense that time is running out.
