Primary Skill: Endurance

In a realm where the ocean’s vastness met the dense mysteries of a jungle, there began the tale of a woman named Lauren, whose endurance and hope would lead her into a most unusual and perilous adventure.

The Awakening
Lauren awoke upon the sandy shore, her head throbbing, and her senses dulled by the unfamiliar surroundings. Like others, she had no memory of how she arrived. She noticed footprints leading into the jungle and the skeletal mast of a ship, a ghostly beacon against the horizon. Unlike some, Lauren chose to walk down the beach toward the ship’s mast, reasoning that there were sure to be supplies on the boat and that the jungle posed many unknown dangers.

The Shipwreck
Lauren arrived at the shipwreck alongside many other survivors, a gathering of lost souls. She felt that she might find something salvageable inside, so she chose to investigate the scene inside the ship.

The Marked Circle
Lauren, driven by her curiosity, was among those who entered a circle of bone-dust within the ship. A storm struck, and Lauren was “marked” by a dark force. Despite the danger, she chose to remain in the ship for shelter, hoping it was a test, and that better things would soon come.

The Sinking Ship
Lauren found herself on the sinking ship, still marked by the bone-dust circle. She was experiencing a throbbing pain in her head, and her thoughts were twisted by the sinister energy of the circle. Lauren must now decide on her next course of action, unsure of what will lead to safety in this strange and perilous land, and what terrors await her on the sinking ship.
