Primary Skill: Endurance

In a realm where the ocean’s vastness met the dense mysteries of a jungle, there began the tale of a woman named Mayoli, whose endurance and careful planning would lead her into a most unusual and perilous adventure.

The Awakening
Mayoli awoke upon the sandy shore, her head throbbing, and her senses dulled by the unfamiliar surroundings. Like others, she had no memory of how she arrived. She noticed footprints leading into the jungle and the skeletal mast of a ship, a ghostly beacon against the horizon. Unlike some, Mayoli chose to follow the footprints into the jungle, reasoning that it seemed like a good time to go into the jungle while the sun was still high, and that it would be too hot on the beach. She also thought it was important to preserve energy and find a water source as soon as possible. She also wanted to find out who else was there, observe them, and then decide if it was safe to join them.

The Clearing
Mayoli arrived at a clearing in the jungle alongside a group of other survivors, a gathering of lost souls. She felt that she needed to know more about the surrounding area before settling down. She thought that while the clearing seemed like a good choice, it did not offer food or water. She thought it was important to see if those were available close by before setting up camp. So, she chose to venture out in search of food and resources.

The Cave
While searching for resources, Mayoli and her group heard a disturbing screech in the jungle. They then discovered a cave opening, and a storm struck. Mayoli, thinking both the cave and the storm were risky, chose to squeeze into the dark cave, believing that running through the jungle in the middle of a storm to a clearing didn’t offer any protection, just dangers. She thought the cave seemed like the best of two bad options.

The Obsidian Labyrinth
Mayoli found herself exploring the cave system with Chris and Jill. They came to an obsidian labyrinth chamber with four paths. Mayoli must now decide on her next course of action, unsure of what will lead to safety in this strange and perilous land, and what terrors await her in the dark cave.
