Primary Skill: Resourcefulness

In a realm where the ocean’s vastness met the dense mysteries of a jungle, there began the tale of a man named Mike, whose resourcefulness and need for supplies would lead him into a most unusual and perilous adventure.

The Awakening
Mike awoke upon the sandy shore, his head throbbing, and his senses dulled by the unfamiliar surroundings. Like others, he had no memory of how he arrived. He noticed footprints leading into the jungle and the skeletal mast of a ship, a ghostly beacon against the horizon. Unlike some, Mike chose to walk down the beach toward the ship’s mast, reasoning that he had to know what happened to the ship and what or who was around it, before thinking about leaving the shoreline to explore a new area in the jungle.

The Shipwreck
Mike arrived at the shipwreck alongside many other survivors, a gathering of lost souls. He felt that he needed supplies, tools, food and water, so he chose to investigate the scene inside the ship.

The Marked Circle
Mike, driven by his need to find supplies, was among those who entered a circle of bone-dust within the ship. A storm struck, and Mike was “marked” by a dark force. Despite the danger, he chose to grab what he could and attempt to head back to the beach, also managing to grab a toolbox. His reasoning was that he had scoped out some useful items while entering the ship and wasn’t about to leave them there, and he needed to escape the storm and the spirits.

The Strange Behavior
Mike found himself on the shore with a group of players who had fled the shipwreck. But he and the other marked players were exhibiting strange behavior, with their eyes seeming distant and their movements hesitant. The humming from the jungle intensified around them, and their whispers were barely audible. Mike must now decide on his next course of action, unsure of what will lead to safety in this strange and perilous land, and what influence the mark might have on his choices and fate.
