Primary Skill: Cunning

In a realm where the ocean’s vastness met the dense mysteries of a jungle, there began the tale of a man named Rosendo, whose cunning and desire for self-preservation would lead him into a most unusual and perilous adventure.

The Awakening
Rosendo awoke upon the sandy shore, his head throbbing, and his senses dulled by the unfamiliar surroundings. Like others, he had no memory of how he arrived. He noticed footprints leading into the jungle and the skeletal mast of a ship, a ghostly beacon against the horizon. Unlike some, Rosendo chose to walk down the beach toward the ship’s mast, reasoning that the footsteps must not be friendly if they left him alone to die. He also felt that the ship may have useful supplies or weapons which he could use to his advantage should he make contact with strangers in the future.

The Shipwreck
Rosendo arrived at the shipwreck alongside many other survivors, a gathering of lost souls. He thought that the inside of the ship could have useful supplies or food and water. He also thought that investigating the bones could tell them if the people who left the candles were cannibals or if they had found game on the island to hunt, and it might also be possible to reach the top of the ship from the inside rather than risking the climb, so he chose to investigate the scene inside the ship.

The Unmarked Path
Rosendo was present when other players entered a circle of bone-dust within the ship. A storm struck, but Rosendo avoided being “marked” by a dark force, because he stayed outside the circle. During the storm, Rosendo also discovered a map and a key inside a crate. He then chose to grab what he could and attempt to head back to the beach, reasoning that he had already found a map and key so it was best to leave the ship and try to find the treasure with the others.

The Shore and the Strange Behavior
Rosendo found himself on the shore with a group of players who had fled the shipwreck. He was not exhibiting the strange behavior of the other players who were marked by the bone-dust circle. Rosendo was now in possession of a map and a key. Rosendo must now decide on his next course of action, unsure of what will lead to safety in this strange and perilous land, what secrets the map and key might unlock, and how the strange behavior of the marked players might impact his own fate.
