Losing the Immunity Challenge came as a blow to Hielo. This was a tribe that had come together exceptionally well, genuinely enjoyed eachother’s company, and often took long walks on the beach arm in arm. While not everyone was able to win their battles during the challenge, it was clear to everyone that David blew it. It was almost as if he was asleep out there. So for some on the tribe, the choice was simple, David had to go.
But things are rarely so simple in Survivor Hamilton. Silas had built a strong relationship with David over their love of futbol, and reminiscing about excellent hairdos, so he was unlikely to vote that way. As he told Elliott after the challenge, you need to understand Game Theory© my friend. But Elliott did not care about Game Theory©, in fact he thought it was stupid, and he let Silas know quite loudly in front of Cait & Alex. As David apologized too casually to Jonathan, Tyler and Paul for his performance, Chelsea used the opportunity to slip away to check a rock formation near the beach for any idol clues.
Though Chelsea thought that no one had seen her, Stef had been chatting with Greg in the bushes quietly and caught a sight of Chelsea out of the corner of her eye. She decided to keep it to herself. For now. There had also been some talk in the group about Greg. He hadn’t made many connections in the tribe, so how could he be trusted, and wouldn’t he be an easy vote? Soon it would be time to find out, as Tribal Council neared…

Come on in Hielo, grab your torches, and dip them in the fire. Because in this game, fire represents your life.
For a tribe that spent the past week in constant physical contact, the verbal warfare at Tribal Council seemed natural to Hielo. At one point or another each member of Hielo had their name come up, and it was clear that the tribe was divided. Eventually, it was time to vote.
One at a time, all 12 castaways got up to vote, with the tension thick in the air.
I’ll go tally the votes.
If anybody has a Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so…

Twelfth vote…

That means we’re tied. David and Elliott both received 6 votes. And we’re headed for a re-vote.
Here’s how tomorrow will work: Everyone on Hielo EXCEPT David and Elliott will vote for either David OR Elliott. Everyone must vote, meaning there will be 10 votes, by 8pm TOMORROW (Saturday). There are 3 possibilities. Either David or Elliott receive the most votes and go home, or the vote will be a 5-5 tie. In the event of a 5-5 tie, one of the other 10 castaways will be randomly eliminated by draw (video evidence will be provided).
Who would have thought that happy Hielo could be soooo divided?
Let’s vote again shall we? Go to Part 2

Crazy! Had me know the edge of my seat. We’ve got our first tie! Wow.
