Tribal Council was getting old – and little did Hielo know it was about to get even older. Ever since Cowin had manipulated the tribe into a David-Elliott tie in their first week at Tribal Council, Hielo had gone from a happy family to a dysfunctional one. When everyone is so friendly, even knowing eachother outside of the game, in some cases very well, the deceit part of Survivor Hamilton can be brutally difficult. Excitement about future plans can turn to frustration at all the wasted time and the broken promises.

What was once a unified group had really fractured into a couple small groups, with some 2 or 3 individuals in the middle being fought over. Chelsea had lost her main ally in Cowin, and despite doing very well at the challenges so far, found herself on the outs from a majority that was forming. Paul and Elliott were also feeling the heat since they had performed so poorly this week at the Immunity Challenge. It wasn’t like anyone was sitting pretty though – everyone would need to work to protect their place in the game. How would tonight’s Tribal Council change the Hielo that went forward?

The walk to the Tribal Council area felt different today. The game was starting to take a toll on Hielo (and Fuego for that matter, but we’re talking about Hielo here!), because it’s really hard to vote out your friends. And it’s not even the voting that’s the hard part, but the dishonesty needed to stay on top, and the paranoia that you may be on the bottom. It’s a very good thing that a game like this comes with literally no consequences, because some big moves would need to be made if Hielo was going to find a way to avoid Tribal Council moving forward and keep up with the suddenly “On Fire” tribe next door. Let’s get to the vote.

Well Hielo, I know it’s been quite a night, so thank you for your patience and understanding. If you didn’t lose Immunity this week you wouldn’t have been in this situation. Still, you have successfully voted 2 more people out of Hielo, buuuuut…

Chelsea and Paul will be spending the night on Exile Island before returning in the morning. But they will not be returning to Hielo… they will be joining Fuego! From this point on, Chelsea and Paul are Fuegos, but we are still not done.

Because 2 people have just left Hielo to join Fuego, we’ll need to even it up, meaning that 2 will be going the other way. The first 2 Fuegos to volunteer to join Hielo will be granted that wish. If 2 people are not provided by the tribe by noon today, 2 will be randomly chosen. Both tribes will be notified of Fuego’s decision today, and there will likely be a post introducing the new tribes.
