Only Rebecca, Jordan and Luke had initially predicted that they would make the Top 10, the others were not so confident, but here they all were. Rebecca and Meg had already guaranteed themselves a spot in Week 17 with their double-win at the Immunity Challenge, and who would be voted out this week was anyone’s guess. It was widely believed that Bryan had a not-so-Hidden Immunity Idol, so he would likely be safe, but outside of that, it was looking like Relampago was still actually Fuego & Hielo.

On the Fuego side, Meg and Stevie had built quite the bond with Rebecca over their shared love of family-band Hanson, and Luke had become something like a tribal pet. He liked that though, because he liked some pretty weird things. Jordan was definitely surprised to be around after his closest allies Graham and then Claudia were eliminated. He had been consistently hearing his name in whispers, so he was worried tonight would be it for him.

Alex, Stef, Silas and Tyler had been through a lot together, and they were looking tighter than ever at this crucial point in the game. With so many weeks played on separate tribes, there hadn’t been as much cross-tribe relationship building as your host had hoped, and so orange and blue stuck together, and fought for Bryan’s heart. Bryan was very tight with Silas, and they had been working together the past few weeks, but he was still OG Fuego, and that meant something.

And then there was talk of idols….

And so Meg and Rebecca walked into the Tribal Council area sure that they would be safe, but unsure who was not. Bryan was waffling on what to do as usual. Stef was just hoping to lay low. Silas was nervous for the 2nd time in the game, wondering if this was his last Tribal. Alex knew she needed Immunity, so her heart was beating a mile a minute. Jordan was tired. Tyler hadn’t received a vote yet, and wasn’t ready to start now. Stevie had been working so hard all week to think of all the options out there. Luke was looking at a lizard over there on a tree, feeling the presence of a kindred spirit.

Let’s get to the vote. If anyone has a Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.

And Bryan stood up, took what looked like an idol out of his bag, and walked up to the front. Here is Chris’ old idol, and I’d like to make it count! Bryan said. And here it was:

We can verify that this IS a Hidden Immunity Idol. And then Bryan shocked everyone, and said, I am going to play this idol for STEF.

And there you go, Stef now has Immunity as well as Rebecca and Meg, meaning that any votes cast for Stef will not count. (that’s the 2nd time an idol was played for Stef. She must be doing something right!)

But before we could get to the vote, Stevie stood too. Everyone fell silent, and looked around nervously. This is an idol I found after we moved to Relampago, and I’d like to use it on MYSELF. 

We can also confirm that this IS a Hidden Immunity Idol, meaning that on top of Rebecca, Meg, and Stef, any votes for Stevie will not count either. Can we get to the vote now?

WE ARE TIED. With 5 votes for Jordan, and 5 votes for Silas, we are headed to a Saturday revote. Jordan and Silas will not vote. The rest of you can only vote for SILAS or JORDAN. If we are still tied 4-4 after the re-vote, Silas and Jordan will be safe, along with Rebecca, Meg, Stevie and Stef. 

And that would mean that Alex, Bryan, Luke and Tyler would draw rocks, each with a 25% chance of going home. What do you want to do guys? Risk your game for someone else?
