After 24 weeks plus of planning, preparation and playing, Survivor Hamilton: Fire & Ice has finally reached it’s conclusion. We started with 24 castaways – some with complicated personal histories together, some complete strangers – thrust into a game that few understood, but everyone proved that they were here to play.

On Fuego, we had a tribe that shouldn’t have worked. On Hielo, we had so many past relationships, that it should have worked. And near the end, a combination of Alex and Stevie’s Hidden Immunity Idols, and Cait’s advantage played by Silas, left us with a 4-4 split. After Silas lost the fire-building challenge that resulted from 2 tied votes, Hielo’s fate was sealed, and Fuego comprised the Final 4. A much more detailed retrospective will follow, but for now…

And there you have it! The votes were 9-2, and your Runner-Up, with 2 votes is…

Rebecca played a mostly uncontroversial game, aligned with Stevie and Meg from the start, and part of an alliance that included Graham and Jordan, as well as Luke. Though Rebecca was never sure what to make of Luke, other than he seemed always to be damp.

And now, with 9 or 11 votes, the WINNER of Survivor Hamilton: Fire & Ice is…

MEG!!! It appears that the Jury mostly agreed that Meg played the better game of the Final 2. Meg was a social mastermind, building trust with (almost) everyone in Fuego, and after being blindsided along with Graham, played a key part in orchestrating a temporary truce with Hielo that should have staked Fuego to a huge advantage, if not for Silas’ hidden advantage that sent Luke home. Along with Stevie and Bryan, the game ends for Meg without ever receiving a vote against. Although unlike Stevie and Bryan, Meg is the winner, and since this is by far the most involved game of Survivor Hamilton I have ever run, I’d say that makes Meg the truest Survivor Hamilton there is…
